They used to be more colorful and tasty, with things like chopped green onions. But, I ordered one a while back, and the only fresh toppings were the tomatos. I thought it was a mistake, but I had another one recently at another location, and that's when I realized that they all serve them that way. Why? Are they just being cheap? What do you think about the change?

I bet they had so many people making adjustments to the pizza, like no green onions, etc. that they just made a standard pizza for what most people want. You could probably ask for whatever you want to be added to it. But you mentioned green onion, didn't taco bell have an e-coli scare with their green onions? I believe they took them off the menu completely. I remember they used to come on the fiesta potatoes but don't any more.

Don't you remember the whole thing with something wrong with the green onions that Taco Bell was using and now they don't use them at all on anything. I wasn't aware of this when it first happened and ordered a mexican pizza with no green onions (like i always have - i hate green onions) and I think the girl thought I was being a smart ***, b/c she got all shitty and said that they can no longer have green onions on anything. LOL.

I think they removed the green onions because of the health problem that arose with them. E-coli, I think? People were getting sick. After that incident, I never saw green onions on their food again. Which was unfortunate because I liked them!
I suppose they never went back to using them after the contamination was over either because they decided it would be cheaper to just leave them out, or they were worried that people might be afraid of eating their food if any green onions were included, so they might lose business.
They may have also been worried about future outbreaks from the same ingredient, and figured it would be better to just not use them again.

I love you them too. They stopped putting green onions on them, due to all the problems they had from them coming over sea's. Remember people were getting sick from them. So there for Taco Bell just took them off there menu for good.

They do this instead of increasing their prices.
But soon they will have to raise they're prices anyway, cause there is nothing left to leave off.
