I was thinking that in light of the current atmosphere in this country and the stench of fear which permeates, that this means there may be help for those hiding under their beds and saying .."please please Mr. x just protect my cowardly hide..I don't care how you do it..or what rules you break".

Fear or experience. Your perception and mine are very different. I was in the Gulf War, lived in Kobar Towers, and lived from October 1990 to April 1991 in the desert with the 18th Abn Corps supporting the Mech. French Foreign Legion. I can tell you that we also had Syrian, Saudi, and many others who knew exactly what to be prepared for and were not shy about expressing it. My perception is experience, this countries is the trade towers twice and many others.
I would also like to add if the government does not learn from the earlier mistakes YOU will be the first to ask why it happened.
