Babycenter.com has wonderful charts for the correct dosage of products for your little one. They never steered me wrong and my doctor is the one that told me to use the charts from that website. Here is the link so you can see and read the entire article/page. http://www.babycenter.com/0_acetaminophen-dosage-chart_11886.bc
BUT HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT INFANTS AND TYLENOL. There are two different types of children's liquid tylenol. Infant drops (which are highly concentrated) and children's liquid. Make sure you buy and use the infant drops and the correct dosage!
And ALWAYS dose your child by WEIGHT not age. Age has no effect on the dose, but weight most definitely does.
For infants under 3 months and that weigh from 6-11 pounds, use 1/2 of the dropper that comes with the infant tylenol drops. Do not confuse the word "dropper" with teaspoon or other spoon. You need to use the dropper that comes with your medicine.
If your baby does not fall in that weight range, please consult the chart yourself. I just printed the chart off and taped it to the inside of my medicine cabinet.

When my now 6 month old got her 2 mo shots, I was told to give her 0.4 (of the lil dropper that comes in the infant tylenol)....but if i were you, i'd call the dr's ofc and have the dr on call give you the exact dosage. they base it on the baby's weight.
My daughter got her 6 months shots yesterday and was running a slight fever...so I had to call the pediatrician for the exact dosage. He was very helpful and didn't seem bothered at all by the phone call.

On the dropper that comes with the infant Tylenol there is a mark that says .4. That is the most you should give them. It's every 4 hours until the fever breaks. This will also alleviate the tenderness of the shot site. good luck to you!

If you have infants tylenol it usually says on the box what the dosage should be. You could always call 1800askanurse..I think it's still a valid hotline...The people who gave your baby shots didn't give you the information to take home with you? Weird.

Only fill it to the first line on the tylenol dropper that comes in the tylenol bottle. Make sure you don't give your baby too much. If they have it too often for the little things, then it wont relive them as well if they get really sick because their immune system will get used to it, not to mention it could make them really sick. But if you just fill it to the first fill line then it's perfectly fine. I hope your baby feels better!
PS. To everyone who is freaking out about giving a baby tylenol... If you actually take time to ask a pediatrician he will tell you that you can give it as long as it is only to the first fill line at the very bottom. You can call a nurse but they will just tell you the same thing.

Do you have the baby Tylenol? The directions should offer some help. Start small and see if you get some relief and in 20-30 minutes add a little more and see if you get some relief. You might call the emergency room at a local hospital and tell them you just need to ask a question. Someone there possibly could help.
And there used to be a web site call......ask a nurse? and they were helpful.
Lots of luck, I know the two of you are miserable right now.

It should say on the bottle, age/weight and how much but it says for children 0-3 months weighing under 12lbs you should talk to your doctor. My doctor had told me to give half the dropper, so 0.5mL. If you're still not sure you could always call your local drug store and speak to a pharmacist.
