I find myself always arguing with people online over music taste because it seems like the whole internet world is against me.

I like pop stuff that everybody knows and it seems like by reading online everybody hates!

In high school, I ended a relationship over it. That and she was a b*tch in every way, that was just the fight that sparked it. She took out my CD and said what I liked was crap. That kinda pissed me off.

Oh my god I argue with people over music so much! I am REALLY specific with my music (indie, alternative - not pop alt, no emo or fall out boy or the like - old school punk, rock.) When people insult Arctic Monkeys, I go ballistic.

I never fight, but sometimes I am amazed at how bad some people's music taste is - and I'm not afraid to tease them in jest. Luckily most are still my friends. lol :-)

My taste is eclectic..rap, rock, jpop, new age, etc. So I don't fight with anyone regarding music. Besides, they might turn me on to some good music I missed.

Only with my sweetheart... not actually fighting though... just a differing of music preferences when we each want to listen to our respective radio stations... in the car... lol
