OK aawww here's the thing seahorses no matter what you do always get sick i've had two Kellogg's for almost a year, and i think they got ick from some brine shrimp, so i mixed in some GEL-TEK......Tetracycline in there mysis and i think its helping them, but thats what the pet store owner told me to do and he's a friend.....so im sure it would prevent too, put its kind of a pain

If it was me, I would soak my seahorse's food in Kent's Garlic Xtreme. Garlic is great for preventing or getting rid of parasites. it comes in a dropper bottle and if you are feeding something like mysis, just thaw out a cube with a little water and add a drop or two, then let it sit for a couple of minutes and feed as usual. Watch out, though, it has a powerful smell!

The best medicine for any fish is good clean water,if they've got that it's all they need.
