What's with age but no wisdom at all? Or if wisdom sees no age, what then?... Just a thought.

No. Everyone ages, but not everyone becomes wise.

Wisdom comes from life experience, but more importantly from the ability and desire to learn from our past experiences.

We can also learn from other's experiences which allows a person to be wise as a young person.

SOMEtimes... ...I've know some very wise young people- & some incredably DUMB "older" people... And there seems to be only a limited correllation between Wisdom & Age... Perhaps what it all boils down to- is that if you start out with "half a brain..."- you MIGHT have a Whole one by the time you're 70... -But if you start out as an "Air Head..."- catching Alzheimers is going to be the LEAST of your problems!!! :)

Yes age and wisdom should come to all, however some people just seem to miss it when it does.

I am reminded of a poem by Edgar Lee Masters in Spoon River Anthology - his poetic masterpiece.

Alexander Throckmorton

In youth my wings were strong and tireless,
But I did not know the mountains.
In age I knew the mountains
But my weary wings could not follow my vision—
Genius is wisdom and youth.

Yes - I have come to learn that genius is wisdom + youth

Age is unavoidable. One can reach old age with no wisdom.

Wisdom is desired, sought, learned or discerned. And then, it is only wisdom if used and applied.

The greatest gift a human can have is wisdom.
Read about Soloman in the Bible. Very interesting.

One of the funniest quotes, but also the saddest quote I've heard.

"With age, comes wisdom, but sometimes age comes alone".
