What has this world come to?

First they tell us fish cant live on land and now they discovered that they do. Tomorrow scientist will tell us that fish can teleport..

These fish have been around for a while....Certain fish have air bladders in them that hold air. Certain species of catfish are a prime example of this. There is a species that i have heard called walking catfish that look like eels with little feet. When a lake dries up they crawl to the next lake or just borrow underground and wait for the lake to fill up.

Many fish can do that, assuming the air is humid enough to prevent them from drying out. Anabatids (Gouramis, Bettas, Perch, Ctenopomas) have a labyrinth organ (similar to lungs) that allows them to breath air. Many Cyprinids (Loaches especially) can force air over their gills, getting oxygen from the atmosphere. Of course, in all of these cases, the fish has to stay moist enough to keep it from drying out...

Check out lungfish,Clarius Catfish,Snake heads,Mud skippers,and that's just the ones that come to mind quickly.
