Religion, any matter of religious faith.

Scientists are free to ask how religious beliefs arise. It's the religious questions themselves that are not scientific. For example, "Does the Flying Spaghetti Monster, in his Noodly Greatness, love non-believers as well as the faithful?" - not a scientific question at all.
