Would the world actually be a better place, or would there actually be more chaos?

A random question. I`m just curious to see what everyone else thinks.

Ultimately it would probably be a better place because when people are open and up front about everything, even their fears and shames, there is understanding, acceptance, compassion, help, love.

HOWEVER, as it is this day, if that happened suddenly with everyone, I believe there would be fear and chaos.

First of all it is very unwise to share feelings with just ANYBODY, especially your deepest ones. One should use wisdom in who they invest their time, feelings, thoughts, life in. It could be a total waste if the person you are sharing them with is not going to listen or take you seriously. To answer your question I think the world could be better, but it is impossible to give an accurate answer until we know exactly WHAT the person's truest, deepest feelings are. There once was a group of people thousands of years ago who ended up basically self-destructing because "every man did that which was right in his own eyes" So in essence as long as our feelings are coming from God and His Word and not our own opions, yes the world will be a better place. Just study history, America is a great example. She was founded as a godly nation, but now they have kicked God out of as many areas as possible and look where America is heading.

It would be chaos to share all of your deepest feelings to everyone, because not everyone will want to hear all your feelings every day. You wouldn't want to share your deepest feelings with a convict in jail or a terrorists. I believe true and deep feelings should be shared with someone you trust and have been friends with for a long time. And you may only want to share them with the man up above.

I think it would be good and bad. I mean love in one way ,because no one would just look on the outside of people. Feelings would be shared and what they think and people could love you and inside and out. Bad because maybe your feelings are not the thing to say to everyone. Like
If you go on T.V and talk bad about the president and no one agrees , well your just now an outcast from the world and your pretty much dead. Or how some people shouldn't say the things they say to people , because of their thoughts towards other people. I think it depends on who you are. I think if i could share what i thought i could seem ore smart to someone, but maybe my friend may seem more like a racist, not that she is, just an example. I'm not really sure ,but that's my guess.

Ancient Europeans wrote about such a Golden
Age.

There are also many other references to various
types of world ages or Ages of Man in Hopi
(worlds), Mayan (suns) and other cultures of
antiquity. Giorgio de Santillana, the former
professsor of the history of science, mentions
approximately thirty ancient cultures that
believed in the concept of a series of ages and
the rise and fall of history, with alternating
Dark and Golden Ages.

More details of these Ages are available in the
Yuga concept of the Hindus. The present age
is known as Kali Yuga (age of darkness).

I think both. If you answered all questions honestly, you would loose a lot of friends and gain the respect of other people. Your family would be included in your loses and some would be included in your gains. So I think most people's life would be put into chaos. Good question though!!!

We might all be dead, or enemies. There are some things best left unsaid. Does a wife want to know her husband thinks she is "putrifyingly, repulsively, ugly and fat fat," when she herself believes she is slim, and why would the husband include those adjectives just because they are his "truest, deepest feelings"?

I'd have to agree with the person who said we'd compensate. More than likely, it would be the 'norm' in our society and while there would probably be lots of chaos for a period, it would probably even out at some point.

more confident than today with 10 times the effect of every action because it would be heartfelt- can you imagine what holy wars would actually be like if they showed their actual feelings?
