No, it's not illegal yet in CA but it is wrong. It will do so much harm to kids (and anyone else) you have no idea, like diminishing their lung capacity for life, causing chronic bronchitis, and just all around horrible for everyone's health, not to mention how it makes them and their clothes smell like a dirty ash tray.

It is not only illegal but highly dangerous and harmful if you smoke cigarettes with children also in the house(not only in California but anywhere in the world) because of the ill-effects of passive smoking.

If not it should be. Anybody who smokes around their children in a closed environment is an idiot. :-)
