As often as I get a chance. This is actually a point of consternation between my husband and me. He was raised in a no-shoes household, I was raised in a household with shoes. Furthermore, my feet need support, and I'm with that other guy. When you are wearing shoes, you are ready for anything.
We have compromised on a pair of house shoes that I can wear in the house. They support my feet, and if there is some quasi emergency, I can always wear them outside and wash them when I get back in (they're crocs). But really, I wish he'd just respect my wishes on this issue.

No. Why would you. Would you like sweeping all that dirt and chit under your shoes everyday outta your house? If you do then start getting the habit of wearing home slippers or something because I feel bad for the person who looks after the house.

Yes, I have diabetes and have to take good care of my feet. There is a 4 year old in the house and she tends to leave things lying around, so it is best if I have shoes on rather than step on something small and/or sharp.

Yes, but I have a few metatarsals that are a bit crooked and a good pair of running shoes worn all day keeps them lined up fairly well--beats the inserts the podiatrist gave me.

Never. I don't like wearing shoes. I take them off at the door and walk around in my socks.

Yes, all the time. I have two dogs and no backyard right now. When they got to go, they got to go. I have to be ready to answer there call to nature. Shoes are a must and/or must be close by.

yep, i rarely take my shoes off after entering my house. Why you ask? because:

1) could be a fire and i don't want to step on a nail, plus i run faster
2) keeps my feet warm
3) i look better with shoes on
4) I don't want to share other people's feet sweat/fungus/bacteria/be on other people's ground

I wear slippers. I feel uncomfortable walking around barefeet.
