Put your left over thread on a needle and weave it in and out of che chain stitches. Go about 1 1/2 to 2 inches and then reverse your stitches When you are back to the starting point clip the thread.

Those two links are great links, but I just wanted to warn you that depending on the type of yarn, the ends might come out easily. It's best to go across one row and then down (or up) another and go the opposite direction. In the future, leave about 6 inches of yarn to weave in. You'll always clip off at least one inch, but that way, the ends are more secure and if they start to come out, it's easier to just weave them back in.

Another method is if you are crocheting an edging, you can just crochet over the ends (depending on how many there are and what type of stitches you are doing.) Here is a link that is helpful and it has four different methods of weaving in ends. http://www.crochetcabana.com/tutorials/ends.htm
It's a long page. FYI.

Separate the plys of the yarn ends and weave each one in opposite directions through your stitches, leaving an end approximately 1" long on each one and then weave back across the opposite way on each end of yarn. Also some people like to use matching sewing thread and needle and sew the ends down after weaving the yarn ends through your stitching to secure them even more.

Put the yarn through a size 16-18 tapestry or plastic canvas needle and weave it back and forth into the blanket to hide it.
