I already know that wrestling is fake. Fake in the way that they already plan the ending and the moves, but real in the way that they DO wrestle eachother. So thi is what I can't understand sometimes. There are some injuries that strike wrestlers out of the blue, like HHH and his knee injuries. I understand those because they happen unexpecedly. But what about the injuries like for example Mysterios recent knee injury? Did he hurt his knee way before his match against Chavo and the WWE needed a reason to pull him out of action so they put him in an 'i quit' match?or did Chavo really mess up his knee by accident/ purpose? 'Cause if someone where to do that to me, i'd be pissed off not only in the ring but backstage too. Can someone explain how that works?

So they fake the injury AND the operation taping?! Damn! That's money well spent! But Rey is still holding on to his injury, if you haven't noticed. He still grabs his knee brace and stuff. He'a a really committed wrestler! lol

No..No...
let me explain..and first of all it is not fake..it is SCRIPTED..that means that the matches are pro determined but some moves hurt each other and you need to train hard to execute them even if it is scripted...
as for the injuries..
The people sometimes are faking injuries and it is part of the storyline, just to build more hype that the wrestler who got injured by another is coming back to get his revenge...
like HBK vs HHH aback in 2002...in the vid when HHH hurts HBK is not real but they used it fot the storyline...take a look..
http://youtube.com/watch?v=yKyV04oT7YM
When the wrestler is faking the injury just for the storyline..we are taling about a KAYFABE INJURY...

In other occasions the wrestler could cut himself just to bleed because it is part of the script...

Sometimes though, wrestlers hurt for real and it is not part pf the script like Triple H at 2002 or at 2007..take a look again...
http://youtube.com/watch?v=n9CmoEwTT_E
or Sabu's neck broken and Stone Cold's too...
http://youtube.com/watch?v=cCmduGb60EE
http://youtube.com/watch?v=OBj9JOc7K3M

These are real injuries besides the scripts...and i hope that will never happen to anyone again..That's why wrestling needs to train hard to reach a safe level and even if you do..then the dangers are still on...

and also there are some other times that the wrestler is hurt bad(real injuries) his knee or something else like The Undertaker in the middle of 2007...BUT...in case that WWE want to profit from real injury..they put The Undertaker in a scripted match to get injured by Mark Henry(kayfabe)..So the reason that The Undertaker got injured was Mark Henry(kayfabe)..the real injury though is that Take had hurt his knee in another match days before. They do that just to build hype for the return of a superstar as i said before...
Smetimes the surgery photos are real and some others not..it depends on the occasion..

I hope that helps...

Well sometimes they fake injuries if a wrestler is suspended, needs a vacation or has other projects to do e.g make a movie. However, sometimes moves aren't performed correctly and the result is an injurie. Rey wanted to take some time off to heal some injuries and Chavo was suspended for drug use so the took him the show with the 'I Quit' Match

In Mysterio's case, I believe he actually needed surgery on his knee. So to give him a reason for his absence, they had Chavo bash his knee in the "I Quit" match and have that be the storyline reason why Mysterio was out, when in actuality, the surgery was needed since his knee grew worse over time. Through this though, Mysterio could take a break and actually get surgery while Chavo would get some heat from the fans.

Some of the injuries are real, like HHH's quad and Cena's pectoral tear, and others are to help them rest nagging injuries or get surgery on actual injuries, and others allow them to just take a rest or do something else, like a movie.

Rey was injured for real so they did a match that would make it look like he was hurt in the ring. Very rarely do they fake an injury so a performer can take a vacation. All contracts state they must perform at least 250 days out of the year barring any injury.

Rey already have a injury before that. An injury in his right leg by the way. Rey needed surgery so that's a why to tell the fans that the guy needs a break and heal his injury.

Rey Mysterio hurt his knee on his own i think in a house show, they had to find a good excuse to pull him off where chavo stands.

in the "i quit" match i think it was scripted for chavo to hit rey's knee with the chair but he still got injured it wasnt a fake injury. plus rey's left knee is really weak cuz hes injured it many times before

SO REY MYSTERIO'S INJURY IS REAL DUDE.

Some times the movement they do is messed up. Like they twist their leg the wrong way while lifting someone...Idk really know..or while they're about to throw someone they move their shoulder the wrong way and tear something.
