Both my husband and son are nice enough to remember to put the seat down after they go. It makes it nice for my daughter and I. And no, I don't get mad when the seat gets left up.

I am one of those people that get angry when the toilet seat is left down
there is a reason why that thing on the front of men's pants is called a zipper
I am a guy
Zip whizzz Zip and it is all taken care of
having to bend down and lift up the seat that some stoopid ninny left down just spoils the whole convenience thing of a zipper
especially when ya really really just gotta go and dont want to take the time to have to lift the seat

Just kidding
really
I prefer both the seat and the cover
always be down except when in use

it just looks better with the cover down
if you are only in there to wash your hands or whatever, you should never have to see an open bowl

No I don't get upset if the toilet seat is left in the up position. I just feel that it is not worth getting angry over such a small thing. We should be thankful for this modern convenience. There are a lot of people in this world that don't have access to a flushing toilet.

I get angry when it's up. I watched a lot of TV when I was little and kinda picked up on how rude it is for a make to do this so I never did. but get this... the women around me leave it up... really pisses me off !!!!! And no one can use an excuse of having to use extra toilet paper to put the seat down. Thats why you are supposed to wash your hands AFTER you're done

I, as the resident alpha male in my household (I'm the only male in my household) religiously lowered both the seat and the seat lid. I figure that if I left the seat up, my wife would let me know the next time she sat down without checking. And I also figure that if I have to lift the seat to do "my thing", fair's fair and she should lift the lid to do "her thing". Well that sort of worked for a while until she made the polite request not to lower the lid, which I have done since for family harmony and because I do care for her. The things we do for love.

I leave it in any position it's in when I'm done using it. Anyone who gets angry over a toilet seat has some serious issues.

I don't get angry when it's left up, but I try to always make a point to put it down.

My step dad worked for a power cleaner company, and he used to power wash fast food bathrooms. He said that if you flush a toilet with the lid up, it throws nasty bacteria into the air at a crazy speed. It's about a nasty as 3 people sneezing in your face without covering their mouths.

No I never leave it up. I always thought that was a sign of being rude and inappropriate. Plus if you don't close it all those germs fly up every where and if you have a tooth brush some what near the toilet it can get feces on it. But I wouldn't say I'm angry about it.

I get angry when people put it down. :)
Why can't girls put the seat back up after they use it?

OK, now these girls either need to get a brain or get some glasses, I'm not sure which one? How the hell do you FALL INTO the toilet???!! Who in their right mind doesn't look before they sit??

I in no way go away it up and that i'm getting offended while human beings do by way of fact it particularly is particularly unhygenic. till the sink (the place ur toothbrush is) and bath/bathe is greater effective than 6 ft from the bathroom you are able to desire to flush with the lid down or each little thing gets lined with debris of water from the bathroom....and that i do no longer choose any bathroom water on my toothbrush thank you!
