No, but it's sure nice to have.
I could give a long list of logical reasons where love would not help at all, but why bother? Everyone probably already knows.
The old saying "Love won't pay the rent" comes to mind.

When two people love each other there is nothing that they can't overcome. It takes love and hard work from both people to overcome obstacles. Death is something that everyone must face, so obviously this is not included in "everything". Love is a precious gift that should be cherished and never taken for granted. If you can understand this then you can overcome anything that life throws at you. It takes faith, commitment and determination from both people to see that their love continues to grow and blossom. True love is worth fighting for and for me even worth dying for. ♥

Nah, if love can overcome all obstacles that is as if you can fall off a 10 story high building and hit the ground with no pain because you're in love. Nuh-uh.

If you are in love you pass obstacles as you see them. You never stop loving just because you couldn't overcome the obstacle, you just open your heart sometimes for someone else. But you never stop loving anyone in life. Like the song goes "Ain't no mountain high, aint no valley low enough".

Love is the glue that holds it all together. You have to have 100% trust in each other, caring for each other, and be willing to work together to overcome challenges and difficulties. If you can't do that, the relationship will fall apart at the first sign of trouble.

Yes if it's unconditional, then there's no such thing as obstacles. See your obstacles as challenges and your whole attitude will change.

Yes.... True love can overcome anything....
Biblicaly: Love for God and obedience can and will overcome death
Socially: Love can be simple or complicated but being true to your beliefs will work in your favor..
It's Belief that I think you are really questioning.... Now you must question your own Beliefs.....

Love by itself is not enough -- but, without it, everything in the whole world isn't enough either!
