I'm a female and i don't get what is the obsession of such huge purses. Yes you can carry more items...but do you really need to have everything you own with you at all times?
All i carry in my purse is my phone, a little makeup, some tissues...and depending on where i'm going a few more items.

like i said on certain occasions i carry other items...like...a camera, an umbrella...ect. i don't have a tiny purse but not like a suitcase.

I don't...
But my purse is kind of small and I pack so much crap in it:
Wallet, keys, ipod, phone, eyeliner/mascara, chapstick, pen, checkbook, a little brush... and other stuff.
Hah it's pretty crazy how many things I have shoved in it.

And some people use pockets and a wallet, since carrying a purse is related to clothing that doesn't have storage space. I think it's a matter of personal comfort.

The stuff I lug around... I hate the feeling of, "Oh, I wish I had brought this!"
Right now, my bag is holding:
- a folder
- two notebooks
- pens
- iPod
- cellphone
- sunglasses
- wallet
- moisturizer
- lip balm
- white-out
- script
- hand sanitizer
- short story anthology
- a collection of Oscar Wilde's fairy tales
And there's probably a lot more I can't remember. I go from place to place - today, I went to school to shopping to rehearsal and now HOME where I cannot wait to get to bed! Yahoo! Answers is much too addictive.

I was a girl scout. I like being prepared for anything with all types of makeup, bandaids, all kinds of stuff. I know it's weird, but it's how I'm programmed. When I have gone out and taken a smaller purse, I felt naked.

Women just like to carry many thing around with them. Maby there going somewhere like on a night out and they need make-up, hair brushes, a wallet, cell phone, ect with them. And sometimes people just like to carry bigger bags, it could be a stlye for them 2.

I'm in highschool and all the girls carry big purses to keep everything in. A lot of people keep their books in their purse. Plus, they're super cute. (In my opinion)

I have a tote I carry all my daily needs and I put my small purse in that.

I'm a mother to an 18 month old and my big purse helps when we go somewhere where I don't want to take a diaper bag.

Some people carry more than others.
I have my wallet, my iPod, cell phone, makeup, sometimes a book, and sometimes I like to keep a scarf/sweater in there.

My mother's like that, but I'm not. She carries a ton of stuff around with her. I'm not sure why.
