Yeah that's a little creepy.

Shouldn't you be more concerned with spreading your knowledge and sharing your opinion, and helping answer the questions people have about the world, or maybe just sharing a joke and a virtual smile with a stranger?

Earning good points give you self satisfaction, no money, no media cameras, no fame just a peace of mind that you shared with the world what you know the best.....that's it.

and noticed that the ones vointg had high 'best answers" and were in complete disagreement with the I have found that when you answer a question and the asker doesn't pick a "best answer' and the question goes into the community "in voting" you can go and open the question and vote for your own answer. I noticed when I had a great question with many good answers and i sent to there that normally only one vote decided the "best answer". That answer was normally a crummy answer that disagreed with 80% of the board. So I followed this for two weeks and made copies of the questions, because once in the "in voting" there are no avatars and found that htese one voters had high best answers.

Now here's the deal the media has sucked us for long enough and now there is voter fraud on yahoo. So if you go back on all your questions and open the ones in voting, you can vote for yourself or someone else.

You may say why? Wel hears the deal if you think something and the others think tht and then you have a few that idsagree and a few humor ones, why have the best answer be picked as the say liberal answer, because those "best answers" are there and pop up and if anyone goes and looks at them they may think that is what the pulse of America thinks and it is not. So go and vote for your answer or the best one. Take care.

Yes & no, I like sharing ideas & knowledge. I don't spend all of my time on Y!A, as I notice some people must do, to get the points that they have, now that's creepy. Also, I think this is a cool way to read about how other people think and what the other countries' people are expressing about our country, etc. Although, I don't always agree with some answers or questions. I'll be the first to admit that! But, it's interesting to "debate" on certain issues. What's nice is you can drop it, whenever you feel like it...you don't have to keep going on and on, like a normal debating situation, in which you are face to face. The points are good, as I like to answer the questions more than ask them. As for Best answers, well, it's pretty cool to see that people read my answers and vote it as "Best answer!" It's interesting!

I think it's creepy to take away people's accounts after they have accumulated top level status.

I think it's creepy that there are users here who spend a great deal of time targeting other users for censureship.

It isn't really about the points and who's getting best answers, at least for me. But when you see intelligent users suddenly disappear, it has a chilling effect on the spread of knowledge.

Honestly I would like to believe we all are. It is not the point system here that is in question it is the "so called violations" that eliminate people who do a good job of sharing knowledge.

I just enjoy reading questions and answering them if I can. The points add on in the mean time. But yes, I have recently discovered the violations are not always accurate or disputable.

I only care about points to the extent keeping my best answer percentage in the double digits.
