This should be on the box but:
First, spread your legs apart.
Second, take the tampon and stick it up your vagina until your fingers(which are on the grippy part)touch your vagina.
Then, push up the little stick thing.
Last, remove the plastic part. The tampon string should be hanging down. If you have any discomfort you should take it out, get a new tampon, and try again. There is no right time, but you should leave it in for ONLY 4-6 hours. If you leave it into long you will get toxic shock syndrome.

follow the directions on the box, but here are some tips:
- put first one in when your flow is heavy. Makes it slide in easier.
- squat, don't sit.
- make sure it's in far enough
- don't leave it in more than 6 hours, but don't change it more frequently than every 4 (unless you're leaking), because that will make you over dry

read the directions on the box. u shuld start on ur second period or something like that. thats when i started.
