Head south on Route 219 until you get to Route 6 in Pennsylvania. There are some nice little towns along there. The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania is kind of interesting.

Amish Country in Pennsylvania is kind of nice, and certainly different. Johnstown isn't that far away. The stuff on the flood is quite fascinating. It's also not far from the scene of the Flight 93 crash from 9/11/01, which is quite moving.

Plenty to do in Pittsburgh, obviously.

From Buffalo, take Rte. 219 South into Pennsylvania, and take Rte. 6 East. This is a relaxing drive that goes through a beautiful area that is still God's Country.

Lancaster, while nice, would be too far for a road trip from Buffalo.

Lancaster is very nice. it is an amish county but the back roads are extremely pretty! I would also recommend downtown Litiz. The Wilbur chocolate factory is a must. The park is very nice also! Enjoy!!!
