My boyfriend loves the Cubs and so for his birthday I wanted to get him some cubs tickets. This is where you guys come in. I've been able to find lots of tickets but I'm not sure which ones to buy. If you could choose any team to watch the cubs go against, which team would you choose? I'm not very good with sports and I want to pick a game that will be exciting so please help!!!

white sox and cardinals games are always the best, but they're also always the hardest to get tickets for. another good rivalry is the brewers, and those games don't sell quite as fast - you could even get tickets for a game in milwaukee, there's mostly cubs fans there anyway and the tickets are cheaper and easier to come by. another good, heated matchup next season might be the d-backs, because of the playoffs. but you really can't go wrong - any game has the potential to be a good one, and you'll have a fun time either way.

Any Cubs game is exciting. A game against the Cardinals is fine if you want to put up with all the Cardinal fans that come up from St. Louis. (How they get so many tickets I'll never know). Same goes for Sox fans.

The 3 biggest would be the Cardinals, White Sox and Brewers. They ended up with the tail end of the AL East in interleague play, so no Marquis matchups (pun intended).
Cardinals released their official schedule. They are at Wrigley Aug 15-17 and Sep 19-21, both weekends. In St. Louis, May 2-4, July 4-6 and Sep 9-11, if you want to make a trip down. Fourth of July weekend in St. Louis is a MASSIVE party, so book WAY ahead! Certainly worth a trip.

Buy St. Louis or White Sox tickets because these are the Cubs biggest rivals hands down. That's it in a nutshell. they will play the St. louis cardinals probably 10-20 times in 2008 and the White Sox 6 times.

The best tickets you could get would be for any NL Central team, but most importantly in that division the Cardinals, or if it's around June or July try getting those Crosstown rivals. Them bums on the south side, the White Sox. Good Luck in your search. :-)

Get him tickets for the for games against the Cardinals big rivalry. White Sox crosstown showdown nuff said there. Or Brewers because of the heated race int the N.L. central this past year.

I think you should take him to a game when the soxs, brewers, or cardinals play. They are big rivalrys. If you can't find tickets playing them go to their field, and isn't a long time.

I'd want to see them play the Cardinals. But I have to say any afternoon game that is not in the dead of summer is nice at Wrigley Field - sure beats being at work!

Get him tickets to the Cards. My girlfriend does every year and it is the highlight of my year. But no matter what, get tickets in the bleachers. I've sat everywhere and there is nothing like the bleachers!
