We used to get all the way up untill the chains went slack and ZOOOOOMMMmm. That's reall fun. SNAP! at the biottom.
And there is always the jumping out from the top of the arc.

Of course! I was always one of the most adventurous kids on the playground.
Like someone else said, we let the chains go slack so they snapped at the bottom and jumped off as high as we could.
How did we ever survive? The poor kids these days are missing sooooo much!
Did you have a Maypole? It was the best!

Were they really 15 ft tall? I'm surprised. I tried it a few times, but I always got seasick so decided to stick to the slide.

I was always afraid it would tip over. I did do a cool thing on the bars though. Anyone ever (this is hard to explain...I may have to make it my own question. lol
