Studying past the point where nothing sticks is over studying.
When I was studying for the CPA exam nights and weekends after working 40 or more hours and a brain intensive job I could only study about 4-5 hours after work and about 8 hours on weekend days, any more and nothing would help. I finally had to give myself permission to take actual time off on Sundays and go do something else.
Don't overdo it a total brain usage shouldn't be more than 12 hours a day then take the rest of the day off.

There is such a thing as overstudying. I tell my students to do everything in 45 minute increments. Study for 45, chill for 45. This gives your brain and nerves the opportunity to settle down. If you spend hours studying you are going to get to point when you are no longer retaining any information. That amount of time is different for everyone. My main suggestion would to budget your time so that you never find yourself at a point where you have to cram!

No such thing calls overstudying. Some smart people, study once and understand all. They are very efficient. Some are not so lucky, they have to spend a lot of time to achieve what they want. As long as you feel comfortable, it doesn't matter how many hours you spend. We call those "overstudying" BOOKWORM.

i dont know how many hours a day would be overstudying, but i learned that cramming is good.
and your brain stops retaining information after 45 minutes.
so, take like a break for 10minutes.

No there's no such ingredient as over analyzing yet there is such ingredient in analyzing to complicated. in case you discover ways to complicated while the attempt comes your likely going to overlook.only have exciting with analyzing and you're able to desire to be advantageous.do no longer overlook take my suggestion it could desire to be clever!!!!

Yes, it exists. It's basically when you get to the point where you can't learn any more information. You are exhausted and have trouble concentrating. The amount of time depends.

When I went to Univ of Ill. I had to work my tail off, I think I averaged about 80 hrs a week in class and studying. I guess it paid off, I graduated and am a good electrical engineer today.
I guess you might study too much, but my 80 hrs was not too much.

I think it exists when you go beyond the point where you retain information. I would think that this would differ for every individual. I certainly do not have this problem.
