It's called condensation. The drink is colder than the room temperature, consequently, moisture forms on the outside of the container. If the room were colder than the beverage inside the container, the condensation would form on the inside of the bottle.

Condensation. Same way how rain falls from the sky. So in your case its water from the atmosphere. The cup is cold just like the sky above and the water vapor condenses on it. We call rain precipitation but its really condensation because its a phase change from gaseous water to liquid water.

The air all around us has moisture in it (sometimes more than others), and warm air means that the moisture is in a gas state.
When that moist air comes in contact with a cold object (anything, like a cold water bottle or a cold piece of metal or anything cold enough) the moisture condenses.
Condensation happens when the moisture in the air is cooled below the temperature that keeps the moisture as a gas state.

I definitely have heard that reusing the bottles can enable micro organism to reproduce, purchase in case you wash them then that may not take place. i could particularly wash and reuse our water bottles, because of the fact i think it is a robust thank you to recycle. we actually get our use out of them in the previous we toss them.
