You have to go to Target! Now when you walk in the store they have this little area full of 1-5$ gifts that would be great prizes. That is where I get all of my things for little party gifts. One stop shop!

I just had my shower this last weekend, my mom & mother in-law through it and it was such a hit! We had about 50 people show up, and the prizes ranged from $10-$30 each and there were 4 or 5 of them.
She had a Satin Hands set from MaryKay, some partylight candle sets with candles, a $20 Barnes & Noble giftcard with a $10 Starbucks giftcard (since they are always found together), ummm, and some Bath & Body Works Body lotion sets with the lotion, spray and body wash.
They were a huge hit! Everyone had fun and loved their prizes. Only spend what you can on them though, and the biggest thing, is give something you would want to get. If you keep that in mind you can't go wrong :)
Good luck!!

Do you win prizes at a baby shower? I thought that all attention is doted on the mom to be. What about giving her prizes in honor of the winner? You could give little gifts like, baby socks, shampoo, lotions etc...

anything can be given but every shower i have been to it's been little trinkets or may a gift card with 5 bucks or so i wouldn't spend over 5 for small gifts and maybe 10 or 15 for a big prize.

I just hosted my daughter's baby shower and I gave prizes in various ranges. My goal was to find a quality gift at a bargain. I gave ice cream bowls, stationary, and spa products. The recipients loved them!

I wouldn't spend anymore than a few dollars each, unless you are only getting a few and want to spend more. Picture frames, knicknacks, things that people can put in their houses and everytime they see it think of you will work for favors.
