I am for it. I am sorry, the only reason I have is this is our life. We can do with it as we choose. It is our dreams and our happiness, why take that away from anyone?
Good question BTW

In my opinion, there aren't any cons to people choosing their own way of life. That is the American way. We are all entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, whatever that means.
As far as the specific examples you mention above - stem cell research could do a lot of good for a lot of very sick people (such as my husband who's a diabetic); abortion is a choice and if it became illegal, it would still happen but in dangerous circumstances (not to mention if men got pregnant it would absolutely be legal without question); and finally gay marriage - I don't understand why people care so much who gets married to whom. Every person should have the same rights as every other person regardless of race, sex, religion, and sexual orientation.

Restrictions on stem cell research are imposed by the withholding of federal funds. If you want to set up a stem cell research lab in your basement, and you don't want any tax money to help you do it - it's OK with me.
Gay marriage is a bogus political effort to spread the already insufficient Social Security funds to an even-more-unsound level. Nobody cares if two people of the same sex get married. What the advocates of gay marriage want is equal treatment with traditional spouses in the allocation of of insurance and government funds. It's all about the money - it's not about the love.
Expressing your opinions is fine, to the extent that no one else is hurt - i.e. slandered or libelled. However, in expressing an unpopular opinion, you can not demand that everyone give that opinion equal weight. That is, you can call your boss a jerk - you're free to do that. But, he gets to fire you for that. You can insult me in a public place, but then I get to punch you in the nose. You can walk around screaming if you want to, but you probably won't get hired as a tax accountant.
You're free to express your opinions, I'm free to regard you based on those opinions expressed.

People should be free to follow their own moral system as long as it doesn't harm themselves, others or infringe on others' rights.
Gay Marriage harms no one and thus is a strictly moral issue for some people. Wearing a head and face cover or restricting women from driving also doesn't harm anyone but there is no reason to require all women to do follow these requirements. Abortion is a sticky subject, but in any case it should be safe, but it should not be a socially acceptable method of birth control. Stem cell resarch has already progressed to where we don't need human cells.

To sum it all up into short terms, this country is build on freedom of speech...and through this amendment you have the right to speak in any why you choose, sure you may offend some people but its your right to choose the way you want to use your freedom.
Abortion, gay marriages, and stem cell research also falls underneath that. If you love someone of the same sex--I feel that we shouldn't judge one another but support one another to love more and stop the hate crimes. If a mother feels that she is not ready to have her unborn child that between her and her unborn child, than again there are options besides abortion. You can give it up for adoption and also you can leave it at a fire station--anonymous.
When we where created, we where created to think for ourselves, and through our actions it shows our thoughts...so when we where created--we where created free!

Your question is too Vague. However, choices that are unhealthy, affect others, influence others, incourages others to do what is not good or illegal, to choose a life style that is harmful to your body or mind or causes servere depression, like drugs or other life styles have dire consequences and only total fools should be given the right to self destruct. If you have guilty feels this might be a red flag you need to pay attention to. You seems to want approval for something you feel may be taboo--run and don't look back or you may regret it.

As long as they are not hurting anyone else, people should be able to do what they want.
By definition there is no harm caused by any of the activities you've posted, so they are fine.

I believe anything that doesn't cause you harm, should be my choice.
Stem Cell - hmm.......jury still out on that one. I have conflicting feelings about it.
Abortion - No. It is harming another person.
Gay Marriage - Yes. It doesn't harm you.
Opinions - Yes. You may not like it, but it doesn't harm you.
** I mean "you" as in society, not you specifically. :)
