Out of the clear blue, my husband told me last night that he wants a divorce. I didn't even know we were having problems, because he was trying to force himself to be happy in our marriage, and part of that involved not telling me when he was unhappy.
He left to stay at a friend's house overnight, to return this morning so I can go to work before my son's birthday party.
My son just came in and asked where Daddy is.
I have no idea what to say, and yes, I'm very very sad.
