I have spent my past 30 years as a professional photographer and have hired many models. Modeling is only partly about looks, the other part is attitude and ease in front of a camera. At this point, you do not appear to be at ease in front of the lens, but then as you state, you are 14. Your nose is NOT big, you are using a lens on wide angle which will make the closest object appear larger (in this case your nose) plus the poses you have chosen are not becoming. The sharp turn of the face and shifting the eyes back to the camera gives a "sneaky" look.

Have some better pictures taken, perhaps an aspiring photographer will do a "Trade for Prints" to build their portfolio and you could gain some better pictures fo r free. This will get you more relaxed in front of the camera and give you an idea if you really enjoy this type of work.

You could definitely be a model if you have the confidence. I'm not going to rate you because you'll get enough judgment in your modeling career. You are very beautiful though. If you get into legit modeling it should never cost you upfront, the agency will pay for you until you get booked for jobs and are a working model, then you pay them back. You should look into commercial and print work since you are young and later on you can branch off into other types. Take some polariods and send them in. Make sure in the photos that you don't have on too much makeup, maybe a little powder and mascara or no makeup at all. They will want someone who will look the same in the pictures as they do in person. While your at it you should build a portfolio. Research local trustworthy photographers in your area and build one up; this may cost you a bit. The third link below shows photographers work and you can search ones in your area. Be sure not to take these steps alone, make sure your mom is 100% involved. I gave you a link to some legit modeling agencies and the second one is where you can post a profile of yourself for legit scouts to find you. Good luck to you in your career, and remember don't let others' rejection discourage you because what one person doesn't like another one does.

First of all, I'm not going to rate you, because "being pretty" has absolutely nothing to do with modeling these days. Agencies are looking for people with an "interesting look"-- but it's not as simple as that.

Even though you don't have to be "pretty" in the traditional sense, there are still certain criteria to be met;

You must be a minimum of 5'9" tall if you want to work the runways. Kate Moss might be 5'7", but she was truly a fluke. Most agencies won't even look at girls in that range if they want runway work. There are, however, agencies that book girls for catalogue and print work-- so if you're a little shorter, all is not lost.

You're going to need a model's portfolio of photographs. You won't even get in the front door of a top modeling agency without one. A good photographer's studio will know the basics you'll need, but of course-- it's going to cost you.

You need to have a strong personality. If you're the type that wilts if you feel someone insulted you, THIS IS THE WRONG BUSINESS FOR YOU. I can't say that enough... You have to have a VERY thick skin. Rejection is simply a part of the modeling game... and it happens every day to the best of models.

Your personality should not only be strong, but must be well-rounded in order for you to truly excel. While there have been "supermodels" in recent years, (ie: Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum, etc) who've gone from mere models-- to being "supermodel/celebrities" heading business empires-- the average model only works a few years and goes into something else completely unrelated to the industry.

So bear in mind... ultimately it's in your best interest to have *A LOT* to offer. If you want your career to last longer than 10-15 years, you need to plan beyond the immediate future. Maximize your potential! Take acting classes, business classes... art classes. Everything counts one way or the other... and since you're still young you can PLAN NOW-- for later!

Remember, modeling is hard *work*. It's not just having your makeup and hair done then mincing down the runway in pretty clothes and having your picture taken. It can be grueling, tedious, freezing cold one day and roasting hot another... and you have to work with different people everyday-- many who may not like you (or vice versa ;-) and give you grief.

Never--- EVER-- give a modeling agency money. No matter what they say about needing to send you to "classes", or asking you to pay "service charges", etc. If they ask for cash upfront-- WALK OUT. They should be in the business of finding you modeling work-- not running a "school for models". A legitimate agency will pay you, *not* the other way around. Remember, there *are* classes for modeling, but they do NOT represent themselves as agents.

I hope my tips have been of some help to you. Here's the website of my former agency. It should be helpful to you with info on how to go about finding an agency. You're actually a little young in my opinion, but you're not too young to work on getting everything together in preparation for your FUTURE!

Good Luck to you honey... you're a beautiful girl with a very unique "look"-- and you can do ANYthing you want if you're hardworking and if you put your mind to it and stay positive.

well, you're average looking.
but that doesnt really matter, most modeling agencies are looking for a girl who has talent; wears clothes well, has a good runway walk. a common misconception is that modeling is about the models. it's not. its about the clothes. the companies aren't selling the models, they're selling expensive clothing. sure, they dont want a hideous girl modeling, but if you're tall, thin, decent looking and talented, you're all set.
as for where to model. im not sure. it really depends where you live. you'll need to take courses usually. my sister got accepted into a modeling school here in connecticut called John Casablancas. look up modeling agencies online.
best of all, be confident.
and you must have a passion for clothing and all that modeling entails. for an interview, be prepared to answer questions about that.
best of luckk

4.
modeling is about being unique, but the world has to agree, there are billions of other girls competing against you,
not to be mean like the real socialing world but your not that pretty or unique looking. I hope you see modeling as a natural talent and not a job where you have too look prettty 24/7 and work so hard to get it.

If you're "Adding Details" saying "Yeah I know" then why are you asking? And yes you are pretty but I truely don't think your pretty ENOUGH. I'm a model and sometimes it's pretty tough, pressure and all. I'm 18 and weigh 98 lbs. and they say I'm not skinny enough. It's not as easy as you think, some modeling agencies say they don't pressure girls but they do, and bad.
Well you are very pretty and here are some links to modeling agencies and good luck because there are billions of girls out there wishing to be a model just like you. I know it sounds mean but I wish someone would of told me this edvice.
