Do you call it dressing or stuffing?

I have always called it stuffing!

I call it stuffing the majority of the time.

Stuffing if it's been in the bird. Dressing if it's baked in a dish outside the bird.

Stuffing but since I'm vegetarian, I don't actually use it to stuff anything...hmmm I never thought about it that way before. My mom called it dressing, though.

Where I come from, stuffing you get out of a box (like stovetop). Dressing is made from scratch and the best kind is made from cornbread!!!

dressing and stuffing are pretty interchangable, stuffing is dressing that is cooked in the turkey itself and around it, dressing is drier texture and doesn't have all the juices from the turkey and is cooked in a seperate pan from the turkey.

If its cooked int he bird it is stuffing. If its cooked in a casserole dish it is dressing.
