Honestly, I've never tried Ragu, but I just cooked with Prego and I had to add a lot of things.. but I guess that's good because then I could choose how I want it to taste.
I tried the marinara one.

Get some Hunt's Tomato Paste and make your own. Just chop up some tomatoes and garlic and onions and buy all the seasonings... Better than Prego or Ragu.
I remember when that stuff first came out, and I thought, ...'gag, just one step up from Chef Boy -ar-dee'!.

Prego. Ragu tastes odd and is not thick. Homemade is the best that you can do.
