The recorded music industry has sued people for sharing the music they have recorded on behalf of hard working artists. This includes children. In Hong Kong someone went to jail for sharing movies.

It is obvious that the recorded music industry is dead, but won't admit. This is like the stagecoach companies sabotaging the railways. Railways are still here and stagecoaches are history. (History this attitude is bad business and companies doing it are going to replaced, you adpat or be destroyed).

Recently drug addled idiots in the music industry in Australia went after DJs, playing their music in clubs (promoting it).

I believe we can sue the bastards. I am thinking anti profiteering laws, anti kartel laws...pity there is no anti-stupidity laws.

You are right. We should sue them. Unfortunately, there is no legal action you can take against them. Their work has been used against their consent, and it does actually gain them the money that they lose because of this piracy.
