I am currently taking a Algebra Elementary remedial course. I am failing most of my exams in that class and some of the guys in the class get the material fairly easy. I admit i haven't done my best to reinforce the material at home. I need to pass the exam coming up or I will be kicked out of my school which is horrible. I wish math was a human so I can kill him because he is about to ruin my life. As you can imagine I floated through the math classes in my middle school and high school. I was foolish enough to turn my back on math and now the jerk is going to ruin my dreams. I need to some how learn the material for the test so I can ace it but I don't think I can do it.
Any suggestions on what i should do?
I hate teachers and I don't like being involved with a tutor because of social problems to work out.

Attention:l I just used the word hate out of anger. I have nothing against math teachers. What I meant to say was that I already have a teacher in that evil class :(

Don't worry about the other guys in your class. If this is a remedial class, the reason that they are getting it easier is because they, like you, have seen it before. The difference is that they are now taking it seriously. You can choose to do the same.
Your best bet (and frankly, probably your only bet) is to get help. You admit that you blew off math classes for years. You are not alone in that; many people dislike math. For that matter, many people hate going to work in the morning. For those that suck it up and go anyway, they get a paycheck.
So you need to realize that you can either a) blow it off and fail, or b) grit your teeth, ask for help, and work hard. Your choice.
Many schools have free tutoring available. Your BEST start is to ask your teacher for help. Yeah, I know, you hate him/her. So what? Even if you've been nasty to them, nothing warms up a teacher like a student getting serious and asking for help. I say that they are the BEST option because a) they get to make the final decision on your grade, b) they know the best way for you to raise your grade, c) they can tell you what's on the test, and d) they know what resources are available in your school. I have been a classroom instructor for years, and I always give the benefit of the doubt to someone who tries. But they have to work and sweat and study. That's the only thing I CAN'T do for them. They have to put in the time.
You can DO this. You CAN do this. But only YOU can do this.
P.S. I've only met 2 students in my ENTIRE career of hundreds, if not thousands, of students, who COULD NOT do the material. On the other hand, I had dozens of students who WOULD NOT do the material. There is a difference. Those 2 students tried and tried, but I could not make them understand.
The dozens and dozens, on the other hand, COULD have done the work. They just didn't want to.

Maths is definently the challenge I hate the most, basically previous to technology. I hate maths so so a lot! Its extremely stressful and once you imagine you have become extra positive at it they coach you something new at school and your're again at sq. a million! Its a very nerve-racking challenge. besides 1/2 the failings they coach you in maths, you received't even favor in existence. i extremely hate this stressful challenge. at the same time as my youthful little ones ***** i will comprehend because i recognize what its like dealing with college passing each and each and every challenge except for technology and noticeably THIS stupid challenge MATHS.

Math is hard for you, so you don't like it!!! Understand.
There are situations when a person has no control over any of what is happening.
There are situations when a person has total control over what is happening.
I see you in the a middle situation.
Teachers who teach math like it.
They like it because they are good at it.
When material is very difficult, it is easy to exhibit negative behaviors.
What do you have control of???
What do NOT have control of???
Look in the mirror, what can that person do to work hard on learning math.
I hope you can develop a way to conquer your math.

Well, if math is really that hard for you, you're not likely to learn it on your own. Hating teachers and tutors is going to hinder your ability to move forward. If you have a friend or family member who is good at math, maybe they can help you. You must practice!

Get over your attitude problems, accept that the teacher is "on your side" and stop making excuses about a tutor.

Don't blame math. Take responsibility for your own actions. You chose your road. You know what you have to do; you just don't like it.
This is your future you are considering; do the right thing or you will forever regret it.
