We don't all agree on the war, but maybe we can all agree on showing the troops that we care what happens to them and think about more than our own selfish little lives or political differences. We may not agree on why they were sent, but maybe we can agree they are there for us. Send a message of gratitude to our troops by posting on your profile or webpage and by sending a care package or letter to our soldiers and/or by giving back to the injured. I bow my head to the injured and dead, and to those who fight for all of us, Thank You.

CJ - Who are you to judge the motivations of others or to speak about a culture you clearly know nothing about? If no one was willing to fight for the US, where would freedom be? Who would have won WWII? The reason you have a decent life and freedom in this country is because soldiers died to make it so. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

My birth father was a Military man... My Husband also... My Son a Marine, Daughter in law, Navy, Son in law, Air Force...
I think of our Military personnel and their families everyday of my life... I lived and breathed Military life for 51 years... there was never a Thanksgiving or Christmas when my house was not filled to the brim with young troops that were away from their homes and families.

I greatly admire their dedication to their communities, their families and their country. The standard of excellence they strive for is beyond reproach. They are a community that is unparalleled when it comes to standards, loyalty & dedication.

I mentioned lately that when the troops came home... our husbands, fathers, brothers, sons, that it was a true celebration of the soul... it was our Christmas regardless of time of year!

I know of, and appreciate the sacrifices made by our people in uniform. I know there is a price for freedom, I have lived in the community that was willing and able to pay the price and do the right thing, no matter how much it hurt...

And, I'm damned Proud of each and every one of them!

Yes, and I send gifts too! I also added a message on my profile. I'm thinking of all the U.S. troops and support people - I may not agree with the war, but I care what happens to the people who are fighting it for us.

P.S. I knew there was a reason I like you, even if you are a cat!

Not just American soldiers...how easy you forget!!

Canadians are there too! I'm thinking of all the soldiers and my dad who was with the Royal 8th Engineers in WW2

Remembrance day is for every allied soldier in every war or battle, not just Americans.

What makes you think that if it were not for the Americans WW2 would have been lost???? Are you sure of that?

Thank you for all the great links. My son is in the Air Force, stationed in Germany (Ramstein). I'm blessed that he's not in a place where he's in harms way. He'd hate for me to say this, but I no longer support the war. However, I do support each and every member of the military, and every branch. They have my sincerest gratitude and blessings.

Yes, the troops and their families are in my thoughts and prayers. I recently sent an e-card to our soldiers and have previously given donations towards helping handicap vets. As you've shown here, there are many ways to reach out to our troops.

Thank you to all those who have fought or our fighting for our country! God Bless each of you!

Thank you Copper Cat. Indeed we need to recognize all that the troops are doing and support them 100%. Having a father, many uncles and aunts, brothers and now a niece serving, I am wholeheartedly involved. I bow my head with you for those who gave up their lives, those injured, and those who fight for us now.

As an active member of the Patriot Guard Riders and a retired Navy vet our troops are OFTEN in my mind and always in my prayers whether they are in Iraq/Afghanistan taking part in the war or 'just doing their job' in other parts of the U.S. and the world.

I'll be proudly riding with my other brother and sister Patriot Guard Riders Monday in the Virginia Beach Veterans' Day parade.

I stand proud for those who have stood for us.

To ALL our troops everywhere, past and present: THANK YOU FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY! GOD BLESS YOU!

Yes I do everyday since my daughter enlisted, deployed to Iraq, returned home safely and is now out. I thank you for your efforts and sharing the websites is great. I emailed them to myself so I can keep better informed of how to continue my support of our troops.
