It doesn't take a rocket scientist to deduce that something is amiss on Yahoo Answers. Best wishes to the enabled cheater.

RLP, now I feel genuine pity for this person. He/she must have no life outside of Yahoo Answers.

I don't kow about that but you know if the asker doesn't pick a "best answer" and the question goes into the 'community in voting" deal, you can go and vote for yourself. If you didn't know this just go back to all your questions and the ones in voting and open and you will not see your picture, but you can find your answer and vote for it.

I studied this for a while. When I have a question with a bunch of good answers, with 8-9 thumbs up I used to send it there and then noticed that only one vote normally picked the best answer and it was normally one that got like 2 tumbs up and 7 thumbs down and was a crummy answer. So I followed them and noticed the people knew htey could do this and had a bunch of "best answers". So if that "floats their boats", then so be it. i have notified my Q-A group and still am (60 more to go) and have put up questions relating to it. E-mailed Yahoo and told them to either put the question back up like a new one and have it voted on and that's it or just have people pick more thumbs up since most people that answer mark the thumbs up and that's fair.

Anyway go back and mark your own question if you want to do it. I actually have voted for other better questions and some fthe funy ones and even a liberal one.

I have not been able to contact everyone in my network but I am working on it. Last night I went to one of the questions i had voted on and voted for a funny question. After you vote it will show you how the others have voted. Well nstead of being only two votes, there were seven! So word must be getting around. The one I voted on got 2, I got one (thanks) and then five ohters got one.
Granted some of the "top" people take time and give great answers, then some use "VOTER FRAUD" and I will not mention what theeir views are.

What i did was for two weeks copy the questins with avartars and then compare to the question and know many that do this. As far as I am concerned the yes/no stuff is ok, but how can you get picked 90% of the time.

So spread the word. I told yahoo that no one goes to look at old questions, very few and do the thumbs up and I'm sure, just like with bogus violations they will get right on it. Take care.

Your observations are valid. As to why the fashion of sturdy questions are being deleted, ought to or not it really is that the questions difficult the liberal ideology or the philosophies of the present occupant of the White living house? If that is in reality the answer then it really is the reason and or answer on your question and as a effect it desires to stop because it really is spoiling it for all and sundry that are observing for properly theory out questions with stressful situations to 'all' ideologies.

Y/A needs to enact some sort of system wherein if the TC hasn't been active in a set period of time, they lose their ranking - at least until they show up again.

It was nice seeing an active top contributor around, wasn't it.

He will be missed.

Because her mode of staying on top requires her to be STEALTH BUM.
She only answers OLD questions ready for voting so she can right away give herself Best Answer. I have seen other posters track her...amazing that someone would take so much time and care to stay on top on YAHOO! Obviously Beach Bum has no other accomplishments...THIS IS IT!
Her PITY PARTY is next week. Gotta feel sorry for someone who is that much of a loser.

I DID see her a few weeks ago, but that's it. Just a brief time, though, and *poof*! Haven't seen her since.

But this is what I've been wondering for MONTHS.
