I just find it weird you keep your ex's numbers that you don't talk to

I have a ton of numbers in my phone from guys I don't talk to anymore. I dunno. They're just there. I don't call them and vice versa. However I think I have an idea as to why I don't get rid of them. I have been in a relationship for the past 3 years and one time an ex of mine called. His number had been deleted so when his call came in I didn't recognize the number. He calls,,I answer it, my boyfriends there....AWKWARD....so I think I leave them there in case they call, so I know who it is, and I can click ignore. It was kinda awkward being caught off guard and saying..uhhh yeah,,,,I'm fine,,uhh can you not call anymore because I have a boyfriend and he's standing right here..LOL

I have a lot of numbers on my phone I don't call anymore, And people I used to talk to but no longer do.

I never delete numbers. You never know when you might need something from someone. Besides, in the off chance that someone called you wouldn't you want the number to come up as their name?

Your ex may not have anything to say to you right now. But, he/she may keep your number in case he/she ever does again in the future.

I have all kinds of numbers in my phone that I don't call any more. For example, my son's wrestling coach - my son no longer wrestles. I just haven't deleted it. I wouldn't read too much into it.

My husband did that when we broke up and then we got back together and now we are married ! Keep hope alive !

they probably just never deleted it. if It wasnt a hard breakup it probably never crossed their mind to delete it
