We don't all agree on the war, but maybe we can all agree on showing the troops that we care what happens to them and think about more than our own selfish little lives or political differences. We may not agree on why they were sent, but maybe we can agree they are there for us. Send a message of gratitude to our troops by responding to this Q, by posting on your profile or webpage, by sending a care package or letter to our soldiers and/or by giving back to the injured. I bow my head to the injured and dead, and to those who fight for all of us, Thank You.

Bin - This is about supporting the troops, not expressing our individual political opinions. Put some of that passion into doing something to show your appreciation to the guys who are sacrificing for us - send a care package, give back to a severely injured vet. At least say thank you.

Whirling W Dervish - What a sad statistic - and shame on US for permitting this. And Thank You. Thank you to you and to all the other Vietnam vets for fighting for us, for me, in Vietnam - you were soldiers and your job was to go where you were sent and do what you were told and, within those limits, to make the best moral choices you could - whatever the moral issues of Vietnam, none of it was the soldiers' fault or even their choice, and most of you did the best you knew how in a bad situation. There is no blame to any of you, only honor.
