I've written to Congressman McCotter and gotten no response, a friend told me that the congressman for your district should help you but I've been waiting 2 months now. I have MS, and SS sent me to their doctors for a 10 minute exam, after which they decided that I am not disabled. I know there has to be other people out there with the same problems, waisting for 2 years for an appeal really isn't an option but at this point I really don't have a choice. I've seen an attorney but that doesn't speed things up-I could be homeless in 2 years. Where do I go for help?????

In this state, you can't trust any politican, they're all a bunch of liers. Congressmen, state senetors, The HBIC herself in Lansing, They all a bunch of morons, And Im afraid you will need to wait a few years for a change in politicans, or ask the federal government, sadly, this states is screwed.

I am currently trying to get a flaw in social security law fixed, it's the hardest thing I've ever done.

In your case you probably do need a lawyer since you have been refused you have to appeal.

Also call your congressman's office and ask who to speak to about social security, most have someone in the office who handles all SS calls.

Best of luck.

Your Congressman sucks! he has people under him, paid with your tax dollar whose job it is to represent you. Pay his office a visit in person and you will see some kind of response . Good Luck!
