I know most of the people in this section and she doesn't look familiar to me...has she been on here long...?

All I know is that she's collected about 100 best answers in the past year and was surpassed by the Top Contributor they just suspended long before they took the title away from her a few months ago. So, they left her up there even after she had been beaten.
I've seen one of her post since starting here in December of last year and she is a liberal.
I think she might be someone's mother.

Isn't that the one who cheats? I read a answer she gave that she goes to questions that are about to expire, gives an answer (that is why you never see her posts) and then goes to the voting stage and votes for herself.

She was top contributor when I first started posting on YA but was replaced by Brian for a time. I've never seen her post anything.

dunno...all i know is that several peeps have commented that they have never seen her post an answer or a question in politics before.
neither have i.
there have also been accusations that she somehow point dumps to herself (multiple accounts, etc)
but who cares. just passing on what i know, since you asked.
