Actually we are both a lot of fun. There is just a price to pay with the intoxicated one the next morning.

It depends how you define fun but you can definitely get cheap laughs just by getting loaded. However, there are other kinds of fun which are mutually exclusive with intoxication...
I think it's more complicated than the question you have posed. There are many dimensions to 'fun'. Some of them will be enhanced by drinking, some will not. Try to find them all.

The intoxicated you only THINKS that the intoxicated you is more fun than the sober you. Other people would think the intoxicated you is a loud, obnoxious boor.

The intoxicated me just wants to go to bed when it's done crying into its Merlot.
The Me that has had a joint though is supremely funny, I've been told by friends in Canada who once let me partake in some of their premium crop.
;-)
I just remember interviewing the Muppets that evening, somehow. And there was a passionate kissing episode with a waitress in a cocktail restaurant.

sad but true. until i start crying for no reason. it always starts fun and happy and ends in tears.also i wake up the next day with no hang over how ever i feel the need to clean myself out.

Yes, but it is such a fine line from "life of the party " to "boring drunk" I can usually stay in the former, but it depends on the crowd, doesn't it?
