Wouldn't usually answer such a silly question but since I donated 3 hours ago I can't resist the chance to toot my own horn. My guess is that completely evil bastards (well, maybe not perfectly pleasant people at least) have benefitted from my blood already. Off to have a few drinks - talk about diminished capacity.

A+ Robert Heinlein got me started donating many years ago with his blood drives at the World Cons. I recently had to suspend my giving as the last two times I donated I got sick enough that night that I had to call the number and tell them not to use it. No idea whats changed, my physicals all are OK for a man my age, but something seems to be not quite right.
Yes, I would donate to save anyone. It is a separate decision from deciding to kill...

I am B+ve. I used to donate blood regularly untill about 5 yrs ago. Now I am diabetic and they dont take my blood anymore. Be positive is a good blood type. I am ready do donate even now.

I donate blood regularly and I don't know who uses it nor do I care. Once a gift leaves your hand you are no longer responsible for it. 0+
