I'm trying to find the name or artist of this Oldies song. I have no idea about anything about it. I heard it on 94.3 from South Bend, IN. It has the phrase 'something happening in the city' and 'she's so pretty'. There's also a very distinctive background beat similar to the Rolling Stones' 19th Nervous Breakdown. Any help on this is appreciated.

As far as artists, It may have been the Easybeats (who originally wrote it) or David Bowie who did a very popular cover.. There are a couple of other people who have covered it.as well. Link below

I know the lyrics don't quite match but another possibility is "Summer In The City" by The Lovin' Spoonful.
