Hello, I was wondering what is the perks/ difference between staying in one of the suites in the pyramid vs the suites over at the tower? For some reason the tower always cost more. why?

The tower at Luxor was built a few years after the Pyramid, the rooms are slightly larger.

I have never had a problem with noise in the Pyramid rooms/suites. Even back when the Luxor first opened and the atrium was completely open noise wasn't a problem.

The Inclinators are only in the "corners" of the Pyramid.

I prefer the Pyramid, how often do you get to stay in the world's largest pyramid. The casino, nightclubs, restaurants. buffet, food court, shops, King Tut, etc are all in the pyramid. The jacuzzi is built up in the corner of the room, the view is awesome.

With either room I don't think you will be disappointed. The Luxor is a very nice 4 star hotel.

Pyramid rooms are less costly than tower rooms but are also smaller. The obvious also is that the wall with the window is angled which adds to making your room appear smaller. The tower rooms are indeed newer and were updated about 3 years ago whereas the pyramid rooms haven't been updated in awhile. There are two towers, east and west. The only downfall regarding tower rooms are that some people complain that its a long walk from casino lobby to the tower rooms. The complaints about Pyramid rooms are that you take "inclinators" to get to your room instead of elevators and are at first confusing.. and slow. You aren't going to be able to see Bellagio from luxor since CityCenter masks everything. There aren't any rooms with balconies or opening windows at Luxor.

I stayed in the pyramid last year.
And I will not go back.
The walls are paper thin and you can hear your next door neighbor easily.
The inclinators roll up and down at all hours and are very noisy.
I complained to the desk, and was told I could not move to a new room. They only not offered to not charge for any nights I did not stay, so I left and went to the Rio. Wow what a difference!
I do not about the tower tho.
