This is completely inappropriate behavior for a teacher. And I am not going to address your perception of the situation because your perception is your own; it is valid to you.
The intervention of a parent in such a situation can be effective; yet sadly, there are times when a teacher or someone else in power considers themselves as being superior to any parent.
What you need is an advocate within the system. This would be the job of a school counselor. I would hope that a person employed as a counselor would have a sympathetic nature.
I recommend just going to see a school counselor as soon as possible. You don't need to prepare for the event; just go in with the mentality that you have a valid concern and with all participants acting as reasonable people, this problem does not need to exist.
If you cannot get satifaction through the counselor, you may have to move up the ladder of authority and speak with the principal. At some point, you should be able to get a sympathetic ear.
I am sorry that your parents are not more supportive in this sitaution. However, I am. Your feelings are valid and you should be able to be reasonably happy. You don't seem to be inherently evil or anything that would suggest that you deserve such treatment. Sure, you may not be perfect; but again, we all need to just get along; given that we claim to be a society of human beings.

You might try studying so that you DO know the answers. As far as the blonde comments go, you might ask her if her natural hair color is blonde. Then you can take the problem up with the principal when you get sent there.

Part of life is learning how to cope with very different people. Do your best and don't worry too much about the rest. Be true to yourself always and you can get through. You likely won't wind up like the teacher, and that's a good thing.

My first grade teacher was like that. She was horrible. She would call a 6 year old stupid and tear up my work in front of the class. I have a lovely inferiority complex. But its getting better.
You won't have her forever. Buck up and get through the year. I assume your grades are OK, so keep on plugging.

Ask the teacher after class "is there a reason why you call on me more than other students"? Tell her how it makes you feel when she says things that make you feel stupid. Her job is to teach and have students understand make sure she is doing her job! Good luck and I hope you can do it!!!

Get a digital voice recorder and save a few of her tirades. Then you could let people hear what you are up against. I just bought one for a little over 30 bucks (an RCA) and it comes with a usb wire so you can save wav files to your computer.

i would just talk to her after a lesson. just say it politely and she might listen. for example, miss, would you mind not making jokes about me being blond, because i find them offensive. im not really very good with words but something like that.
alternatively, you could talk to a nice teacherand see what they advise you to do about it
good luck with it
