my husband was with a exgirlfriend about 8 years ago and she had a baby but she had cheated on him with five other guys and he dont think the baby is his he has been paying child support for about 6 years what will we have to do to get a dna test and how much will it cost and how long does this process take?

It takes 1-3 weeks and costs around $750 - $1,000 depending on the type and complexity of the tests. The courts can order that each parent pays half, but it might be better to pay it all, to get it done quickly.
But be aware that proving at this stage that the child is not his may not cancel the need to pay child support. Check with a lawyer once you have the results.

you can get a court order for a test and the results can come back in as little as 48 hours to a week and the test is expensive. it costs $300 dollars or more. but if he isn't the father then he can sue to get his money back that he paid in child support. wishing you the best.

He will probably have to go to court. It costs a lot, and it will probably take a long, long time.
BUT. When it's done. if it turns out that HE isn't the dad, and he can prove she perpetrated a fraud, then he can hold her liable for ALL of the money that he paid out in child support.

Call your local Hospital and they will hook you up it will cost about 500 dollars or you can call 1800DNAcenter they will tell you there nearest location and they are the same that do it on Maury
