Interesting comparison, I see what you are getting at:
1) Bush administration has created huge debt with war time spending.
2) He has borrowed money for US creating huge deficit. He is a high risk borrower.
3) Just like a sub-prime mtg the deficit keeps increasing - the balance borrowed is rising without a plan on getting it under control.
But, China should not repossess because we will have a new leader in Jan 09 to "assume" the loan.

No, the creditworthiness of the US Government has not been downgraded.
