If you like the cold weather you should definitely come between October and March. But if you really like a white winter you better check a weather chart.

Unfortunately, being on tour we only spent two days in the Netherlands. It was early May and the wind off the North Sea was biting. If you really like cold, damp and dreary weather visit in winter which coincides with the Northeastern US.

Go whenever, whatever time of year you go, 4 hours after you arrive, you wont give a rats *** how much it is costing. I have spent a total of 9 weeks in amsterdam, and fully recall roughly 9 days of it all lol. Happy Daze!

The best time to visit Amsterdam is spring or summer. At this time there a lot of flowers (mostly tulips) and you have a chance to travel across the city by boat - it's beautiful!!!
