bring a bunch of pads and change them often it might feel lik a wet diaper but its the only option other than using a tampon

if ur scared to use a tampon try Tampax plastic gentle glide (light size they're smaller so they don't hurt) i wont use any other kind especially since I'm still a teen.

I felt the same way when I was 13. Dont worry though, I was in a situation similar to yours and decided to try using a tampon and at first it was kinda difficult to put in but then I got used to it lol. Im 14 now and I always use tampons because I find them so much better than pads. I dont think you should let your period get in the way of going to the water park, cos you'll probs regret it later if you do. Tampons are honestly not that scary...personally I find it easier not to use an applicator, but I think a lot of people find the opposite. Just see what feels easiest for you :) Hope that helps xx

Tampons can be a bit intimidating because so many girls have a hard time using them the first time. A really great tip for you, though. The directions with the tampons show the vaginal canal going almost straight up but it doesn't. When you insert it, keep it parralell to the floor. It will slide along the vaginal wall and into position easier that way. Good luck!

Also, the menstrual cups are absolutely awsome! I got one a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! Worth looking into in the future...

start off with the smallest kind. tampaz pearl has really tiny ones. thier purple. try those, then move up to a bigger size. it doesnt hurt or anything trust me. and if it does then stop trying to put it in. you have control of what your doing... oh and make sure you read the directions on the tampon box. they help alot to understand how to put the tampon in

well since you sound like you've never used a tampon be4, i suggest you start practicing. just run up to walmart or target and get you some juinor, slender, slim, or if you can't find those get regular.the best kind of tampon in my opinion for water is tampax pearl. just read the instuctions carefully and RELAX and you should be able to use it. make sure you read EVERYTHING on the dirctions since like i said you sound like you've never used them. hope this helps.

I think for today and tomorrow, try out a tampon to get comfortable with it. It doesn't hurt if inserted correctly. If you really don't want to do that and your period's not too heavy by then, don't wear one. My health teacher told me that it won't be noticable.

Just try wearing a tampon, if you don't want to be uncomfortable and feel dumb at the water park.
I really recommend wearing the tampon to the water park, but if you're just swimming at home or somewhere, I usually put my underwear under my swimsuit and just go swimming. The chlorine stops your period for a bit. Maybe you could try this at the water park, but since you'll be in and out of the water you'll probably resume bleeding when you get out of the water.

Being in water makes the menstruation appear to stop for awhile. If I were you though, I would try using slender tampons. There not going to get lost inside you, and they do make things easier.
