IMO Democracy doesn't work, don't believe me? here are a few examples, war, poverty, 33mil dollar salaries for some workers, they have children working over in other countries with 1 dollar/hour salaries while they are getting paid there disgusting amount, innocent people are in jail, and that is just a few. What do you think would be a better system?

Democracy is the only civilized way... btw, it is not democracy that causes evil, it is capitalism... unfair economic systems.

Democracy has given America freedoms you can find no where else.
We have the best health coverage anywhere either because we are the richest country in the world.
We put more young people through college (I qualified and recieved $50,000 to attend UC Berkeley with free tuition. And I graduated with a 3.8 GPA in the honor society class of '05.
If you are not happy, it is because you are a loser and a crybaby who can't or wont take advantage of our wonderful system. I am a foreigner and I love my new country. How 'bout you?

Hmmm, let's see... how about an authoritarian government where the President and Vice President are above the law, the congress is filled with a bunch of ******* who cower before the president's every whim, where we ignore treaties to which we are party, we torture, we hold prisoners without charge and without access to a lawyer (i.e., habeas corpus thrown out the window), we invade countries that pose no threat to our security, etc. Oh wait, that's what we already have!

I really like a federalist republic based on a balance of powers, state's rights, and extremely limited constitutional authorities.
Democracy stinks. Its like being ruled by public opinion polls that are rigged to make you think you're thinking for yourself.

Democracy is not the solution to poverty. Education, improvement of agricultural methods and employment are the remedies to solve poverty.
