However, I would like to see what there is to say about hte Tisch that is bad. If you were trying to convince someone to NOT go to the Tisch, what would the rationale be?

OK. Tisch concentrates on stage acting and most of the jobs are in film. Furthermore their concentration is on classical stage acting mostly Shakespeare. There are very few jobs doing classical acting. It is very expensive. (over $50,000 a year!) You are going to have to work very hard and not mind giving up a lot of social stuff that other students do. If you do not progress well or if you get bad grades you will be dropped from the program. They teach a lot of junk that is not necessary to know like Strasberg and Atlantic which are phony and a waste of time for the actor. You can get a four year head start as an actor by not going to college and you can take a lot of professional classes for 50 grand!
