Is that possible, waking up from a coma 10 or 15 years later? For sure, I'd be very surprised to see people familiar to me aged a bit. I don't know if members of my family are still around to greet me from a deep and long slumber. In any case, the first thing I would like to see when I open my eyes are faces dear and familiar to me. I don't care much what the country will be like as long as it is still safe for me to venture out. The first thing I would ask is for a cup of coffee and a toast buttered with mango jam. Obviously, life will never be the same for me. Things will be different but, I hope to merge myself with the "new" surroundings and learn to cope with reality as fast as I can. And yes, after that cup of coffee comes a list of what to see and what to eat.

When I would wake up after being in a coma, I would like the world to be the same.. It would probably scare me out if I'll see flying cars and trains right away..

The world is full of city ships hovering in the skies, and the land is so green and free. No man-made boundaries, at last.

First, I will check to see that my soul-mate has also arisen from the same hibernation. And we would do our usual morning rituals together. And I shall know no heaven but in her eyes.

If I find you would rather I go in a coma by myself, all alone, and there is in fact, no such soul-mate, then I will go out in the desert, a place I've known for ages, and die.
