If you want to break it down Chuck vs. Amarie, KJ vs. Steve Nash, Thunder Dan vs. Shawn Marion... Myself I give the edge to 92/93 because they had a tougher caliber of teams to go against, but thats just me however I think present day plays defense much better(thats not saying much) and has a deeper roster.

The 92/93 team would win 4 to 3.

You want to know why? Here we go:

Nash versus KJ - Both were fast but without a doubt KJ was a more physical player. He went to the hole against anyone and was faster than Nash in my opinion. Nash is a better pure shooter though.

Sir Charles versus Amare - Amare's size would give him the advantage (remember what Chris Webber used to do to Charles at the same size but 2 inches shorter). Great match up though. Sir Charles would make him work.

Thunder Dan versus Marion - Thunder Dan could shoot the lights out. Marion would not be the same rebounding and inside presence because Dan would keep him out on that island. Problem, Dan could play no D.

Danny Ainge versus Raja Bell - Raja is a better all around player.

Tom Chambers against the flavor of the month. Hands down Tom Chambers. He was a high fly act that could shoot. The boy had crazy game, so much so Magic made him an all-star MVP by just making sure he got the ball. He is the reason why this team would win. He would get two or three players in foul trouble because of inside out abilities.

Sixth man. This is close. Richard Dumas was far better than Diow but was not fast enough to keep up with Barbosa. They could have neutralized Barbosa by packing the middle like San Antonio did last year. So this one may be a toss up.

The benchs. The 92/93 had alot more size and even though the current team is faster and could play smaller players better defensively; Oliver Miller and Mark West were definite inside presences that would cause the current team problems. Grant Hill makes a big difference now but again you can pack the middle against him.

Coaches - Westphal was so crafty. He was a rock solid coach.

That's no contest. The current is a pansy team compared to 92/93.

Charles Barkley, that was his MVP season, would have made sure they didn't lose. I remember his Game 7 performance against the Sonics, he was awesome.
